About AMS Edition

We are a small, hands-on team making alternative parts for Aston Martin from our workshop in Cowes.

Aston Martin with AMS Edition body styling

Where we come from

AMS Edition was built on more than 20 years of mould-making and production work in the Japanese car industry. It taught us how composite parts behave and how much a few millimetres matter when a panel meets a factory body. Our sister company, Japsalon, specialises in Japanese cars, and the two businesses share the same practical, workshop-first way of doing things.

What we make

We focus on four areas, with a few smaller accessories alongside them:

  1. Body styling in high-grade composites and carbon, including the DB9 to DBS front bumper conversion, matching sideskirts and rear bumper, and front bumper diffusers.
  2. Exhaust parts in stainless steel and titanium for V8 Vantage, DB9, DBS, Vanquish V12, V12 Vantage and DB11 V12, from valved rear boxes to secondary pipes, X-pipes and tips.
  3. Brake upgrades built around 410mm floating discs on CAD-designed bells, six-piston callipers with spacing brackets, and pads to suit.
  4. Forged wheels with offsets drawn in CAD for each car, a choice of colours and finishes, and every wheel strength tested to 850kg per corner.

Made to order, not mass produced

Most of what we sell is produced once an order is confirmed. That lets us match finishes, diffuser options and wheel specifications to the car in question, and it means we are not sitting on piles of stock that may not suit you. Where a part has a typical manufacturing time we will tell you when we quote, and we will keep you updated if anything changes.

Tested on our own cars

Before a part goes into the range, it goes onto one of our own Aston Martins. We check how it fits, how it sounds or stops, and how it lives with day-to-day driving.

Power, beauty and soul

Aston Martin describes its cars in terms of power, beauty and soul, and that idea guides the way we work. For us it means parts that genuinely add to how the car performs, that look as though they belong on it, and that keep the character which made you buy the car in the first place. We are an independent business and are not affiliated with Aston Martin; we simply build the parts we want on our own cars.

Our workshop in Cowes

We are based at Unit 18 Prospect Park, Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO31 7GJ. Fitting is available at the workshop for brake upgrades, and we are happy to talk through fitting for other parts when you enquire. Please get in touch before visiting so we can make sure the right people are here.

How to enquire

Send us your car's model, year and registration along with the parts you are interested in, using the contact form or the details on our get in touch page. You can also email info@amsedition.com or sales@amsedition.com, or message us on WhatsApp on 07970 220 024. We will confirm fitment and options and send a written quote.
